Bluffton Tigers Softball ended their season with an 11-1 loss to Woodlan Warriors on Monday night in the first game of section.
The Tigers were the visiting team on the scoreboard. Woodlan started the game off with 3 straight outs for the Tigers in the 1st and scored 2 on 5 walks and no hits. They continued to score runs on 4 HBP and 5 walks in the 2nd and 3rd inning.
At the top of 4, the score was 8-0. Tigers played great defense in the 5th, held the Warriors and only allowed 3 batters to the plate.
The Tigers would not score until the top of the 6th inning on 2 hits and 1 error.
The game ended in a run-rule finish in the bottom of the 6th with a score of 11-1. Woodlan will face the winner of game 2 (South Adams vs. Canterbury) Wednesday night at 5:30.
