Bluffton Tigers Varsity Claims Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Whitko
Bluffton Tigers Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 21-9 victory over Whitko on Saturday. The game was tied at nine with Bluffton Tigers Varsity batting in the top of the fourth when Lukas Hunt singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Kaleb Riley collected four hits in five at bats to help lead Bluffton Tigers Varsity to victory. Riley singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.
In the first inning, Whitko got their offense started when Wilson homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Kaden Gerber led the Bluffton Tigers Varsity to victory on the mound. The righthander surrendered four runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Austin Lewis threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Aisley took the loss for Whitko. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out three.

Bluffton Tigers Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up 18 hits in the game. Riley, Dylan King, Eli Garrett, Cooper King, and Cameron Nestleroad all managed multiple hits for Bluffton Tigers Varsity. King and Riley all had four hits to lead Bluffton Tigers Varsity. Gerber led Bluffton Tigers Varsity with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.
