The Bluffton Tigers Varsity baseball team defeated Southern Wells 20-2 on Tuesday.
The Tigers got on the board to start the first inning as Eli Inskeep led off with a solo home run.
The offensive onslaught was led by Inskeep, Max Corle, Kolton Moore, Everett Johnson, Konner Norman, Clayton Thompson and Nick Huffar, who all drove in runs. Recording multiple hits for the Tigers was Inskeep, Corle, Moore, Heller, and Brandon Lockwood. Also reaching safely with a hit apiece was Thompson, Norman, Huffar, and Everett Johnson.
Clayton Thompson earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Bluffton. He surrendered two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero.
The Tigers also tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Gavin King and Koltan Moore led the way with six swipes apiece.
