The Bluffton Tigers Varsity Baseball team defeated Churubusco 17-10 on Monday.
Max Corle took the win for the Tigers in a relief effort. He surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out five and walking one.
Bluffton saw the ball well throughout the game, racking up 20 hits in the game. Clayton Thompson, Brandon Lockwood, Gavin King, Gabe Eisenhut, Everett Johnson, Kolton Moore, and Max Corle all managed multiple hits for the Tigers. Mason Heller also added to the offensive attack with a hit of his own.
Thompson went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
Bluffton again tore up the base paths, as the Tigers stole 8 bases. Koltan Moore led the way with 3, Gavin King added 2, and Brandon Lockwood, Max Corle, and Eli Inskeep all swiped one bag apiece.
