The Bluffton Tigers Varsity baseball team seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off home run to topple Bellmont. The Tigers were down 11-10 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Gavin King homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Eli Inskeep pitched Bluffton to victory. He went two and a third innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out three. Clayton Thompson threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kolton Moore started the game for Bluffton. He surrendered four runs on three hits over three innings, striking out two.
Bluffton hit two home runs on the day. Mason Heller went deep in the third inning and King went for the long ball in the seventh inning.
The Tigers collected 11 hits on the day. Moore, Heller, and Corle each collected two hits to lead Tigers. Konner Norman led Bluffton Tigers Varsity with two stolen bases, and the Tigers swiped six in total.
