The Bluffton Tigers Varsity Baseball team took Thursday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over Adams Central. The game was tied at nine with the Tigers batting in the bottom of the seventh when Max Corle got hit by a pitch to bring in the winning run!
The Tigers tallied four runs in the third inning. Eli Inskeep, Gavin King, and Everett Johnson powered the big inning with RBIs.
Nick Huffar pitched the Tigers to victory. He surrendered one earned run on four hits over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Max Corle threw two great innings in relief out of the bullpen.
The Tigers had 11 hits in the game. Inskeep, King, and Johnson each managed multiple hits, while Max Corle, Clayton Thompson, Gabe Eisenhut, and Dominic McPherson each recorded a hit. Inskeep went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team.
