Lady Tigers Triumph Over Winchester 6 - 4) Win The Bluffton Lady Tigers beat Winchester 6-4 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at 4 when Jillian Phillippe hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs. Bluffton tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a home run to right field by Krista Blair, and a ground out by Tressa Renner. Konley Ault homered to right field, which helped the Lady Tigers tie the game at four in the top of the sixth. Marly Drayer, Tressa Renner, Madyson Sonnigsen, and Isbella Stout each added one hit to the Lady Tiger's 8 on the game. Madyson Sonnigsen earned the win for Bluffton. The pitcher gave up 10 hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings. Sonnigsen struck out seven and walked two. Number nine hitter, Blair, showed the depth of the Lady Tiger's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Phillippe and Blair each drove in two runs for Bluffton. Isabella Stout turned one double play in the game.
