Bluffton Defeats New Haven (17 - 5) Win Averi Petty drove in four runs on two hits to lead Bluffton past New Haven 17-5 on Saturday. Petty singled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the second inning, scoring two. Bluffton scored 13 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Petty singled scoring two runs. Marly Drayer grounded out, scoring two runs. Tressa Renner singled, scoring two runs. Kierstynn Reed drew a walk, scoring one run. Petty singled, scoring two runs. Ault and Petty each collected two hits. Phillippe paced Bluffton with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting 14 walks for the game. Petty Stole two bases. Lady Tigers Defeat New Haven (9 - 6) Win In game two, the Lady Tigers were triumphant over New Haven 9-6. Bluffton jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Madyson Sonnigsen singled, scoring two runs, and Jillian Phillippe grounded out, scoring one run. Bluffton added one run in the second after New Haven committed an error. Kiah Craig drove in two runs in the third inning with a double to center field. Kamryn Ault earned the win for the Lady Tigers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered eight hits and six runs (two earned) over seven innings. Ault struck out three batters Bluffton piled up 10 hits in the game. Sonnigsen drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Lady Tigers with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Tressa Renner led Bluffton with two hits at three at bats. Bluffton ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game.
