Lady Tigers Fall to Daleville (12 - 19) Loss Bluffton Lady Tiger's bats were strong against Daleville on Saturday, but it wasn't enough as the Lady Tigers fell 12-19. Daleville collected 9 hits, while Bluffton had 16. Averi Petty, Jillian Phillippe, Tressa Renner, and Konley Ault each collected three hits for the Lady Tigers. Ault's being a two run home run. Madyson Sonnigsen took the loss for Bluffton, pitching 6 innings, striking out out seven batters. Sonnigsen collected 2 hits for the Lady Tigers at 5 at bats. Isabella Stout stole two bases, the team. collecting 4 in total. Lady Tigers Drop 2nd Game to Daleville (10 - 12) Loss Bats were blistered in the second game of the day, but Bluffton couldn't quite get the job done against Daleville, taking the 10-12 loss. Both teams collected 15 hits. Bluffton got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Krista Blair drew a walk, scoring one run, and Kamryn Ault singled, scoring two runs. A single by Marly Drayer extended the Bluffton lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the third inning. In the bottom of the fourth, the Lady Tigers broke up the tie when Tressa Renner hit a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Then a single by Jillian Phillippe followed to extend the lead to 6-4. A single by Madyson Sonnigsen helped the Tigers tie the game at 10 in the bottom of the seventh inning, forcing an eighth inning. Bluffton accumulated 15 hits in the game. Ault led the Tigers with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The pitcher went 3-4 on the day. Drayer and Ault each collected three hits the Bluffton. Konley Ault, Sonnigsen, Renner, and Averi Petty each collected multiple hits for Bluffton. The Tigers also had one double play. Ault took the loss for the Lady Tigers. Pitching 7 innings, she struck out 7 batters, and left 10 runners on base.
