The Bluffton Tigers 8th Grade Boys capped off a dominant season by defeating Adams Central 45-26 to claim the ACAC Tournament Championship. With this victory, the team secured back-to-back ACAC regular season and tournament titles, cementing their place as one of the most successful squads in Bluffton Middle School history. They finished this season with an impressive 20-1 record, following up last year’s perfect 18-0 campaign. The championship game was tightly contested in the first half, with Adams Central staying within striking distance. Just before halftime, they knocked down a deep buzzer-beating three-pointer from just outside their own 3-point line, cutting Bluffton’s lead to 21-15. However, the Tigers came out firing in the third quarter, delivering a dominant 15-0 run that put the game out of reach. Chase Kistler and Maddox White led the scoring charge with 11 points each. Wyatt Holmes added 9, Vince Lambert chipped in 8, while Croy Stout (3), Kamdyn Shuman (2), and Trace Simpson (1) also contributed to the well-rounded effort.
