The Bluffton 8th Grade Boys Basketball team beat Woodlan 45-13 to move on to the second round of the ACAC tournament. The win improves their season record to 18-1. Chase Kistler led the Tigers with 22 points, along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Maddox White added 10 points, and Vince Lambert scored 3. Wyatt Holmes, Braxton Bebout, Kamdyn Shuman, Keaton Ingram, and Ethan Ribich each scored 2 points, with Ribich also leading the team with 5 assists. The Bluffton 7th Grade Boys Basketball team also had a big win, beating Woodlan 44-6 to advance to the second round of the ACAC tournament. The win brings their season record to 16-3. The Tigers played tough defense, holding Woodlan to just 10% shooting and forcing 20 turnovers. Easton Schipper led the scoring with 12 points, while Riker Beste added 8 points and 5 steals. Carter Bell scored 6, Abram Atkins and Clive Gerber each had 4, Kole Kiefer and Simeon Terry scored 3 each, and Braxton Graham and Davin Drayer both had 2. Both teams will play in the second round of the ACAC tournament on Wednesday night.
