In a battle between two undefeated 8th-grade middle school teams, the Bluffton Boys team fell to Oak Hill 63-38. The Tigers trailed 24-22 at half, but a 22-point 3rd quarter for Oak Hill put the game out of reach. Chase Kistler led the scoring for Bluffton with 17 points. Vince Lambert had 8 points, and Wyatt Holmes added 7 points and 10 rebounds. Maddox White had 5 points, and Parker Christal had 1. The 8th Graders fell to 3-1 on the season with the loss. The 7th Grade Boys Basketball team defeated Oak Hill with an impressive 49-31 victory to improve to 3-1. The Tigers outscored Oak Hill 29-11 in the second half to pull away with the victory. Leading the Tigers was a dominant performance from Davin Drayer who returned after a one-game absence due to illness. Davin scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Riker Beste also had a great all-around game with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Kreigh Ault had 8 points, Clive Gerber had 2, and Simeon Terry had 1. Both teams will be back in action after the holiday break on December 2nd in a conference game against at South Adams.
