Bluffton 8th-grade boys' basketball team defeated Heritage 35-29 in a double overtime thriller to advance to the ACAC Championship game on Saturday. Gavin Grieser paced the Tigers with 15 points. Gibby Grieser pitched in with 7, Reid Abbett had 6, Bennett Stoller had 5, and Parker Barnes had 2. The Bluffton 7th-grade boys' defeated Woodlan to also advance to the ACAC Championship game by a score of 42-14. Leading the Tigers was Maddox White with 14 points. Chase Kistler was right behind with 13 points. Wyatt Holmes scored 6, Kamdyn Shuman had 3, and Vince Lambert, Parker Christal, and Pierce Renner each scored 2 points. Both teams will travel to Southern Wells Schools on Saturday morning for the ACAC Tournament Championship. The 8th Grade will play against Jay County, and the 7th Grade will face the winner of Friday night's game between Jay County and South Adams.
