Bluffton 8th-grade boys' basketball team secured a win over Southern Wells, 34-9 advancing to the second round of the ACAC Basketball Tournament. Leading the charge for Bluffton was Reid Abbett, with 10 points. Gavin Grieser contributed with 8 points. Gibby Grieser, Parker Barnes, and Rafe Gerber each added 4 points. Bennett Stoller, Dawson Lee, and Braelon Terry scored 2, 1, and 1 point respectively. The Bluffton 7th-grade boys' basketball team also defeated Southern Wells by a score of 47-10. Leading the Tigers was Chase Kistler with 18 points. Maddox White scored 8 points, Vince Lambert had 7, and Wyatt Holmes had 6. Parker Christal, Cooper Bustos, Kamdyn Shuman, and Corban Wheeler each scored 2 points. The 8th-graders will face Heritage in the 2nd round tomorrow night and the 7th-graders will face Woodlan. Both games will be played at Heritage. The 7th-graders will play first at 5:30 PM.
