The Bluffton boys cross country team placed 6th overall at the Taylor XC Opener on August 22, 2026, finishing the boys' 5000m race with a team score of 170 points, led by a strong performance from senior Ryan Schlagenhauf, who finished 23rd with a time of 18:24.39. Sophomore Case Neuenschwander followed closely behind, placing 26th in 18:29.50. Junior Andy Baumgartner continued to contribute with a 38th-place finish in 19:10.83, while senior Aidan Graves crossed the line in 42nd with a time of 19:19.06. Senior Clayton Brubaker rounded out the team’s scoring five, finishing 51st in 19:38.15.
