Bluffton Varsity Tigers won big over Daleville Varsity Bronco 11-5 on Saturday. Bluffton Varsity Tigers opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Bluffton Varsity Tigers first got on the board when Kiah Craig singled, scoring one run. Daleville Varsity Bronco tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to an error, and a single by Kyra Osborne. Bluffton Varsity Tigers took the lead in the top of the fourth. Kenley Smith hit a solo home run to left field, to give Bluffton Varsity Tigers the advantage, 3-2. Daleville Varsity Bronco made the score 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth after Rylan Leonard singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs. Bluffton Varsity Tigers flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 8-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Addison Kauffman that drove in two. Kamryn Ault earned the win for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. The pitcher gave up nine hits and five runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Osborne opened the game for Daleville Varsity Bronco. The pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out two and walking none. Bluffton Varsity Tigers piled up 13 hits in the game. Craig went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Bluffton Varsity Tigers in hits. Smith, Kauffman, and Jillian Phillippe each drove in two runs for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. Kierstynn Reed and Konley Ault each collected multiple hits for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. Maddie Rees drove the middle of the lineup, leading Daleville Varsity Bronco with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Leadoff hitter Osborne led Daleville Varsity Bronco with three hits in four at bats. Miley Womack and Breyanna Wagner each collected multiple hits for Daleville Varsity Bronco. Daleville Varsity Bronco stole six bases in the game.
