The middle school track team had their first meet against Adams Central last night. The boys lost a hard fought battle 53 to 61. Top finishers were Harry Burroker with first place finishes in the 110m and 200m hurdles, TJ Borabo-Hower in the mile, and Davin Drayer in the 400m dash, 200m dash, and high jump. The 4x4 relay team of Clayton Sonnigsen, Maddox Kauffman, Harry Burroker, and Davin Drayer also placed first. The girls dominated Adams Central with an 89-25 win. Top finishers were Ariana Hamer in the 100m and 200m hurdles, Hayden McElveen in the 100m and 200m dash, Sophia Robles in the mile, Cadence Lehman in the 400m dash, Naomi Fry in the 800m run, and Paisley Neuenschwander in high jump. The 4x800 relay team of Sophia Robles, Mackenzie White, Naomi Fry, and Willow Todd also placed first. The 4x100 meter relay of Ariana Hamer, Hayden McEvleen, Cheyenne Sonnigsen, Michele Ervin secured the top spot. Finally, the 4x400 meter team of Cadence Lehman, Ariana Hamer, Paisley Neuenschwander, and Michele Ervin excelled and won first place.
