Bluffton Varsity Tigers lost to Bellmont Varsity Braves 9-5 on Wednesday. Bellmont Varsity Braves got on the board in the second inning after Isabelle Buuck homered to left field, scoring two runs. Bellmont Varsity Braves extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Izzy Isch and Liz Bobay. Bluffton Varsity Tigers made the score 5-2 in the bottom of the third inning when Kenley Smith hit a solo home run to left field, and Jillian Phillippe singled, scoring one run. Adisyn Radecki earned the win for Bellmont Varsity Braves. The starting pitcher gave up 10 hits and five runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking one. Kamryn Ault took the loss for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking one. Bluffton Varsity Tigers accumulated 10 hits in the game. Kiah Craig, the number seven hitter for Bluffton Varsity Tigers, led the way with three runs batted in.
